For the step it up cartoon collectables task we had to make our own aquatic Disney characters using real life references.
My character is named Sukhoi because that’s the name of the Fighter Jet I modelled him after. I chose a mix of a Flying Fish and a Fighter Jet because I thought that its an interesting combination. A challenge I faced was how I could mix them without making it look that one of the combinations were overpowering each other, for example it would look to much like a jet and nothing like a fish.

I’ve seen some cool designs and yours stands out for that … AND additonally to that, your post really stood out to me because of your personalised and fully reflection of the activity as well! It was cool to read about the things you’ve made careful decisions about as you designed. Maybe you’ll be a designer yourself one day.. you certainly have an eye for it.
